Earth Hour Philippines 2009: Photo set at Cubao X

I spent Earth Hour from 8:30 to 9:30 PM (Philippine Time) at Cubao X, a quaint little haven of restaurants, clothing stores, art galleries, vintage shops and shoe stores in the middle of the metro. After a meal at Allan’s Grill, my friends and I went to I Love You Store just next door, looked around and took some photos. Too bad we weren’t able to stay for a beer or two because the place was packed!

Without much further ado, here’s my set (Click for a larger version):

One little candle
A bunch of sunglasses lighted by a single candle

More photos after the jump.

Where did you spend Earth Hour?

haha, nice take on the earth hour. i don’t really get it. most people continue wasting energy after anyway.

It’s just an excuse to have candle-lit dinners and smex after. :D

  • SASSY MOM

That’s a nice way to celebrate Earth Hour. I hope we can continue everyday!

Hi Sassy Mom. Yes, it is. Earth hour for only a year is kind of useless but at least people are getting used to the idea. Thanks for leaving a comment. :)

I was in a debut when Bleue texted me about it (he wasn’t the first one, actually). I said I was in the middle of a debut.

He told me to unplug the lights and everything. HAHA. He’s funny.

It’s still nice that some people follow it–they give efforts to at least… I dunno, follow the earth hour.
